Based on microscopic features: Spores 6,5-7 × 3-4 cm, thick-walled.
Pileipellis made of 3-6 rows of clavate cells, 20-45 µm diameter.
Basidia 4-spored, 21-25 × 6,5-7 µm.
Cheilocystidia utriform, lageniform, ventricose, sometimes with crystal at the apex, thin walled, 35-40 × 10-15 µm.
Pleurocystidia similar to cheilocystidia, 35-41 × 12-15 µm.
