The attachment of the gills to the stipe (stem) makes a big difference in what this might be. I can’t see what kind of attachment is present.
Here’s another interesting and fun thing that helps identify mushrooms: a spore print. If you take just the cap from a mushroom, and place it flat on a sheet of white paper, then cover the mushroom with a glass or cup to protect it, in a few hours it will leave a pattern of spores (if young enough). The spore color tells us a lot about what kind of mushroom it could be.
