But there seems to be a light fibrous veil in the third photo, that I don’t really see in the others. I’d be nice to have that better documented here. But that third photo looks more like Hebeloma mesophaeum, but I can’t tell about the light veil on the others, maybe a mixed collection in the four photos? Or maybe those are all H. mesophaeum. Not collected or id’ed all that often in California? I’m not sure I’ve heard of it in the bay area?
