Spore measurements

are essential to attempt to id this, The roundish cells on the hymenium are basidia and basidioles, Like the paper you linked said, it would be really cool if you can dry these. Psathyrella needs a lot more collections with good data.

I am doing what seems like a lot right now, so my contributions are minimal for the time being, (including preserving and sending collections). No measurements taken. Pleurocystidia not observed. The images with the blurry spores showing the clearer, roundish cells is the hymenium layer. I wanted to share something off subject but hopefully of increase to you: http://www.fungimag.com/archives/DNA.pdf

Did you measure the spores? Can you label your cystidia images? Is pleurocystidia present or absent? Seeing the cap surface can also help.

It would be cool if you can dry these, nice collection!

Did you save these?
