Growing under Douglas Fir in wood chips near busy road. No distinctive odor and mild taste raw. Very dry mushroom even though it has been raining all week. Does not exude milk. Bright creamy orange-colored gills, like orange sorbet. Inner tissue of cross section is tan. Cap is lumpy, brown and brown-yellow with the light orange of the gills under the surface.
