Notes: I can’t get this to key out, either. Cap is smallish, about 2 inches wide, striate margins, pale flesh colored or yellowish-brown; stipe with minute white scales; volva colarlike, with an abrupt bulb at the very base, but quite small and deep in the duff. The photos are of two different specimens, the first photo is the oldest, and shows a big of white universal veil on the top; the second thru fourth photos are the youngest specimen, which is also the palest. Cap slimy/viscid, at least when raining.
