Notes: Late Fall Oysters growing on a birch stump. They love this colder weather that is hovering above freezing. These made a tasty meal. I boiled them for 10 minutes, then sauteed in olive oil along with kale from my garden. Served over rice and with Sambal Oelek red pepper sauce. The photo of the meal also shows Pholiota squarrosoides, still fresh after a week in the frig.
