Notes: Small white mushroom growing in wood chips,gills are notched, spore print light brown or maybe yellow brown, spores are elliptical, 7 to 8 by 4 to 5 microns. stem is sturdy and same diameter along its length.

Recognized by sight: While the mushrooms may have been growing in wood chips, these fungi are likely mycorrhizal. In other words, they need live trees or shrubs in order to survive. Are there any trees or shrubs near this obs.?
