Several of these were growing in a tree-shaded area in a suburban park. Photos show three: a mature specimen, beginning to turn black; a young specimen; and an aged specimen, nearly completely gone.
Nearby, under a tree near water, were some Agaricus mushrooms (obs. 12057).
