Habitat Doug Fir. Taste acrid. Cap viscid especially near margin. Cuticle peelable only if you break off a piece of the margin, then 1/4 to 1/2. Stipe flesh reddish pink with FeSO4. Spores pale cream, 7-10 × 5-7, Av. 8.5 × 6 with warts less than .5u and mostly single. Red staining at the base of the stipe on a few of the FB when collected. Gills bruised brown.
