Yeah this is a common Cort. under live oak in the area. It was first given the name of C. collinitus, like in Mushrooms Demystified, which was fine as a general name for similar Myxaciums. But I think we are using the name C. trivialis now in the area for these. I’m not sure what the cutting edge knowledge is on this one, if that name will stick, or another one is in use by now.

Has a lovely thick and slimy universal veil when young.
