Observation 120784: Inocybe (Fr.) Fr.
When: 2012-10-06

Notes: Inocybe sp. growing from the ground in mixed woods along the Moxie Falls trail in The Forks, ME. Spores are smooth elongated ellipsoids with a taper at the ends (see photomicrograph). The 20 spore average was 9.2 × 5.4 microns, Qm = 1.70. Metuloid cystidia are present and only a minority slightly encrusted.
