smell?

The Genus Hygrocybe 2nd revised edition Boertmann doesn’t mention pinkish/orange gills in the description of H. aurantiosplendens.

The closest thing i found was H. quieta pg. 108. I’m not sure what the American material would be called though.

The caps are really yellow

but the pinkish gills and stature remind me of H. aurantiosplendens
