i was heading in the end of a 50km hike, i just ran out of motivation. will try to get more details in the future. (sometime you also get attacked my moskitos when you stop for photos which makes it hard to spend the time to make good photos)

…?

the underside is the underside of the cap, the hymenium, the fertile layer (ie: gills, pores, teeth, smooth, etc.), which, as Alan pointed out, is not shown here, which makes the prospect of obtaining an ID considerably more difficult. I suspect it was not smooth, but anastomose-poroid. do you have any more photos of this, Mr. Franky?

unfortunately not

it looked like what you call the underside is actually the cap. and the gills are what is exposed in the photo

but it was most probably just plain white underneat

Do you have a pic of the underside?
