that it’s undescribed – I couldn’t find a perfect match

Found some chilocystidia

I put some gill edges on a slide and was able to locate some cheilocystidia. It measures 15 – 20 × 4. I also saw some large, round to oblong cells on the gill edge, I uploaded a pic of that. In addition I added some scalp section pics of the pileipellis – appears that there are some pigmented inflated elements. I asked Dr. Vellinga about this observation and she said that it is undescribed.

Abbreviations

N: number of measured entities
C: percentage of entities within the brackets
Me: median values
Qe: median Q-value (length divided with width)

Maybe Alan can explain it better, since he seems to be using a fancy calculation program :-)

Forgive me if I’ve already asked this in the past, but what do the following abbreviations represent:
N, C, Me, and Qe?

But pileipellis

should contain chains of subglobose brown-walled cells in both echinacea and jacobi. I had expected to see some in the micro shots – if they were taken from the brown scales..?

Touché!

Though it can present cheilocystidia in tuffs.

Or Lepiota echinacea?
