Trudell says that clitocybe of similar appearance sometimes has forked gills

I don’t see forked gills on these, or on many other photos called P. cyathiformis… will add that as a suggestion.

I saw the forked gills clearly on the other observation… today I look and I can’t be sure of that, only you can tell us about. If they are not forked, it could be a C. gibba, for example.
