Ten days later I revisited the place. The ascocarps were completely open. I took the oportunity to take a sample and analised it under the microscope (see attached files).
I found many photographs on the internet with the spores of Sarcosphaera coronaria but I was not able to see one with emphasis on the paraphyses that in my opinion are really distinctive. The best I could find was a drawing at webalice (Sarcosphaera coronaria = S. crassa, according Species Fungorum).
Average dimensions of the spores: Me = 15.3 × 7.4 µm ; Qe = 2.1 (N=28).
