Including this single photo to document a late fruiting of coccora on Mt. Diablo – there were at least four fruiting in this group, and all had striated margins, universal veil remnants on the cap, butter-colored smooth stipes all the way below ground.
I didn’t want to disturb this one by disinterring the volva, so hopefully this is enough to ID for the curious. I thought I had taken more pictures.
