I first found these at this site in 1996. They returned in three or four of the following years through 2001 and I have not found them here since. The best fruitings were in 1996. I have seen a small fruiting in another location a few miles north of here on private property, also close to the river’s edge. This is the only record from Washington State.
I’ve retained portions of collections from this site from other years, though not from this observation. Splits have been deposited at WTU in Seattle, and the Farlow in Cambridge.
