Observation 122099: Gloeodontia subasperispora (Litsch.) E. Larss. & K.H. Larss.
When: 2012-12-07
(37.5487° -119.6452° 4119m)

Notes: On well rotted conifer wood.

This specimen has clear clamps, and small (4.5 X 3.0) kidney-shaped spores. In Wu’s key it goes straight to Boidinia subasperisora, but the original description of the species mentions abundant crystals in the fruitbody, that I did not see in this. There are other details of the description that I probably missed as it is in German. In any case it seems to be very close to this species.
