Collection location: Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Santa Cruz Co., California, USA [Click for map]

Pale pink cap and marginate gills gave me the impression of a bleeding mycena, but I did not check. Stipe smooth, sparse hairs very near the base.

still only in Perry’s (inaccessible to most) Master’s thesis?

unpublished names should be in quotes or with the words nom. prov. at the end of the latin binomial.

according to Perry, impossible to tell apart from purpureofusca except by microscopy.
