Not positive, but I don’t think the mature ones were viscid. I can only find reference to eburneus gills turning at most yellow when dried. (Only came up with H. chrysaspis/discoxanthus looking for gills turning brown.) Is that a reliable character?

if the caps were very viscid, I don’t doubt they are H. eburneus
