Observation 122512: Lepiota roseolivida Murrill

When: 2013-01-09

Collection location: Thurston Co., Washington, USA [Click for map]

Who: Grant (Grande4231)

No specimen available

Growing under a live Acer macrophyllum. Mildly unpleasant odor. Pileus does not seem as finely hairy as described of L. roseolivida, but more like that of L. decorata. Due to the geographic location, L. roseolivida is more likely.
