Observation 122540: Peltigera ponojensis Gyelnik
When: 2012-12-31
Who: zaca
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These specimens were observed at the same location than those in observation 98844 and observation 98843. The material now look much more fresh, due to the winter time. So, the color of thallus is quite different, but the features are pretty much the same. In particular, no apothecia are present, the upper surface is tomentose, glossy, +/- pruinose at margins and glabrous toward centre, the lower surface is completely white except for the presence of very pale veins, and the rhizines are also white and simple. I believe Jason was right in her previous appreciation and that this must be Peltigera ponojensis.
