I don’t know much about Eucalyptus,

but the most common specie here is Eucalyptus globulus, which origin is Tasmania and Australia.

Hmmm… that is interesting. Do you know which eucalyptus there? Makes me ask why don’t we see it here in California with similar climates, and plenty of different eucalyptus also.

Descolea maculata is native to Australia (or austral origin) but was brought to the Iberian Peninsula, Portugal and Spain, which has spread due to massive replanting of eucalyptus.

Where did you get this name? The species of Descolea from my understanding have a distribution of Gondwanaland, in the far southern hemisphere. Is this a name that is known to be seen in Portugal? I’m not sure people have seen Descolea introduced in northern places, except for a small amount in Hawaii.
