Observation 123077: Tubaria furfuracea (Pers.) Gillet
When: 2013-01-20
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Hollow stipe. Buff spore print. Taste & odor non-distinct. Small and lignicolous.

Question: Are the spore pictures of any value? A number of issues prevent me from doing regular microscopy, for now, and photography of the spores, but I rigged up a way to at least get the pics displayed.

They are ordinarily a more tan color, w/o the reddish coloration (age, and maybe the cold made the look more reddish). When dry, the cuticle color gets much lighter, too.
