When: 2008-10-11
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Cap is mostly gray with hints of red subsurface, covered with a layer of mucilage, which attracks quantities of hemlock needles to proliferate over its cap. When cap is still inrolled, the edge is white to creamy, gills close to crowded, with copious white latex, and a thick white stipe.
