Observation 123432: Agaricus bernardi Quél.
When: 2012-12-01

Notes: Found attached to wood on residential lawn, where unknown tree used to live.
Looked and smelled like non-almond and non-phenol Agaricus, but was solidly on wood with lateral stipe.
“Of course” there’s no such fungus as a lateral Agaricus on wood…

Recognized by sight: The lateral stipe is environmental & I doubt it was growing from wood, shouldn’t stain red and should have a briny odor.
