Growing in well-rotted wood; thick stipe arising from single unbranched stem, white with some reddish-brown at the base; tips of coral pale pinkish or yellowish, depending on light, viscid although it hadn’t rained in over 30 hours; about 3 inches tall and perhaps 2 inches wide at the widest point.

Recognized by sight: Compared to collected identified at 2008 Oregon Mycological Society Fall Mushroom Show on Oct. 12, 2008. Except for a slightly deeper yellow coloration, I believe these are identifical.
