Observation 127282: Trametes betulina (L.) Pilát

Notes: These look like the Daedalea quercina in my last post, but the gills are a lot more straight with less irregular zones. The gills also run right to the edge with no lip and are a bit narrower.

Compare: On the right is Lenzites betulina on the left is Daedalea quercina. You can see the difference in thickness and structure of the gills. Daedalea quercina has a smooth rim under the margin, while on Lenzites betulina the gills run right to the margin.
