Observation 127652: Descolea maculata Bougher
When: 2013-02-02
Collection location: Braga, Portugal [Click for map]

Notes: How to distinguish between Descolea and Pholiotina/Conocybe? These were found in pine/eucalyptus wood, it’s the second time I see these little, close to ground mushrooms. Last two photos show more details Yellow “something” on gills. Stems 2-5 cm. Caps 1.5-3.5 cm. Smell (dried specimens) of foot odor or smelly socks.
