So I was pretty close and I was in many bogs with Salix cinerea. Well, not in the midst just at the margins cuz I had no rubber boots with me. Maybe I didn’t look close enough there were so many new ones for me and I was heavily looking for Corticiales too during that trip alongside Boletales of course.
from the observation date, I haven’t seen it for nearly 20 years..
But it’s not extremely uncommon. Most of the obses are made in swampy areas on Salix cinerea, but other hosts as well. Here’s a map:
how frequent is this in Scandinavia? I looked for it in Tyresta by but was unable to find one single thing even close in shape to that ;)
