These appeared to be growing on debris under dead branches. Base of stipe with whitish cottony mycelium.
Caps up to 5.6 cm across.
Spores were ~ 7.0-9.2 X 5.8-7.0 microns. Q(ave.) = 1.28.
Plenty of Pleurocystidia and Cheilocystidia, horned and ~ 65-80- X 15-20 microns.
Spores seem a little too large for P. cervinus.
