Observation 128264: Inocybe fastigiata group

Notes:
Light tan colored Inocybe sp. growing from the ground in mixed woods. Spore print was brown and spores are smooth and ellipsoid. The 20 spore average size was 9.0 × 5.7 microns and average Q=1.59. Cystidia are infrequent and possibly only closely grouped cheliocystidia. The cystidia are thin walled, not encrusted and remain colorless in 5% KOH. See photomicrographs for shapes of spores and cystidia. Microscopically similar to my Obs 127432, but the appearance of the basidiomata is quite different.
