Notes: Was out with an expert the previous weekend and he always called them this.

Yes, young ones are dark scurfy on the stem. But it would have been nice to see the mushroom from below too.

I was unaware that Oudemansiella had this kind of stipe. Aurora doesn’t mention it.

very nice! Apparently THIS Oudemansiella grows on trees, and doesn’t have a radicating stipe!
