Observation 12843: Tricholoma columbetta (Fr.) P. Kumm.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Around 10 specimen growing fairly far apart in a ring around a birch tree. The smell is faintly of flour. Not furry on the stem. The stem is a bit thinner in the middle, and it is curved at the bottom, maybe 3cm of stem under the earth.
