If I had to guess I would consider just baby Panellus stipticus growing on the larger one, other choices would include things like Claudopus parasiticus or Entoloma pseudoparasiticum but I can think of other choices.

Several gilled mushrooms are parasitic on other mushrooms(Collybia, Asterophora, Psathyrella epimyces, and Volvariella surrecta, to name some in the Pacific Northwest).
