Peck’s words ring true, another season coming to an end.
Not much left out around me, It’s been cold the past couple nights (mid 20’s) just a few tricholomas, hygrophorus, russulas and corts hanging on.
Oh well…

Peck wrote somewhere that this species was a sure sign of the coming end of the mushroom season in the northeastern US.
