Observation 129382: Daedaleopsis J. Schröt.
When: 2012-11-10
Who: demcgrady
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These mushrooms were growing on the upper surface of wooden boards.
They have maze-like pores that face up.
These boards were put in place by the electric company to lay a temporary road through a wetland. They had been in place about 2 years and will be removed and re-used. I do not know the type of wood.

Is these a possibility that somebody turned around the logs recently? Pores turned up would not ‘function’??

I agree the maze-like pores look right. However, these mushrooms had the pores facing up. I have not seen anything like that.
