Hi Nicolas,
I didn’t have any material from this observation, so I went back to the place, took new photos and collected a sample.
In the meanwhile the cups have developed a bit (maximum size is now arrond 4 mm).
I already uploaded two photos from this revisitation, one having a rule (on the right side or at the top) graduated in milimeters that was inserted in loco.
If you or someone you know are interested in having a sample, please contact me (you can see my email at my user page, Mailing Address for Collections). Any special recommendation for the drying process?

Maybe S. erinaceus…

… but it is a very species in Europe. Did you kept part of the materiel or can you find it again ? I’ve got a friend which studies Scutellinia. I think that he would be very interesting in such a collection from Portugal.

Maximum size less than 3 mm.

Well, it is always difficult to determine a Scutellinia species without microscopic data. Can you give us the size of apothecia?
