Not familiar with Canoparmelia alabamensis

But I think this may be Myelochroa aurulenta. Note the pustulate soralia (more noticeable in the other observation 129750). M. aurulenta is a hard one to characterize and recognize in the field, but it is chemically distinctive: medulla is K+ yellow/orange from leucotylic acid (also tends to tinge the medulla yellowish, especially under soralia).
