Notes:
Inocybe sp. growing from the ground in mixed woods. Cap is radially fibrous with an uneven splitting edge. Somewhat similar to Obs 128264 but this specimen has a cap color more toward yellow/orange and larger spores. Spores are smooth and ellipsoid. The 20 spore average size was 11.4 × 7.1 µm with Qm=1.60. Some spores were over 13 µm long. Cheliocystidia are closely grouped and thin walled, not encrusted and remain colorless in 5% KOH. No pleurocystidia were observed. See photomicrographs for shapes of spores and cheliocystidia.
