Observation 130314: Menegazzia wandae Bjerke

Substrate: Nothofagus spp. (probably N. pumillo, maybe N. antarcticum)

Habitat: Valley older growth gnarly Nothofagus forest, open canopy.


Upper: greenish, with holes.

Lobes: narrow elongate.

Soralia: terminal, appear labriform.

Recognized by sight: soralia associated with pustules not perforations, although mature pustules themselves turn into perforations, but edge of soralia not as lacerate as “our” M. subsimilis
