Notes: In duff/debris near cedar; Cap 6 cm. wide; Gills: free or notched; Spore color: cinnamon; Stem: 4 cm long, 1 cm wide at cap, widens to 1.5 cm at base; no sign of veil; Base: underground is enlarged and irregular, several stems grow out of it

Not Volvopluteus

This was examined at the identification portion of the monthly meeting of the Oregon Mycological Society. There is no sign of a veil; so not Volvopluteus; it is just plain Pluteus.
