Observation 130960: “Deuteromycota” R.T. Moore
When: 2013-02-05
Collection location: Braga, Portugal [Click for map]
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Some time ago I found this white mycelium in a forest and brought a bit home, trying to better see or even make it grow indoors. But the poor died of course. In that process I noticed that this “green something” seemed to kill the mycelium. Some of the white mycelium remains white now and it’s dried. The green stuff could be Trichoderma viride?

But to see if it’s a Trichoderma (viride is quite rare, most common is harzianum) a mic is needed. Could be also Penicillium and umpteens of more.
