Crust lichen, on conifer twig.
THALLUS: smooth, thin, shiny, medium gray
MEDULLA: white
ALGAE: green
APOTHECIA: disks, pale pinkish turning pruinose white in age, thalline rim tattered and disintegrating in age
SPORES: 8 per ascus, small, elliptical, 15 × 10 µm, 1 µm walls, smooth, 14-19 × 8.2-11 µm (Q=1.4-1.7) (N=5), walls 1.1-1.4 µm (N=3)

Spores, in water, at 1000×.
