Notes: Crust lichen, on conifer twig.
THALLUS: intensely verrucose, surface of verrucae rough, whitish
MEDULLA: white
ALGAE: green
APOTHECIA: buried in verrucae
SPORES: 1 per ascus, 2 cells, thick walled, very finely roughened/textured, up to 180 µm long, walls to 12 µm (and apparently more)

Those spores are unmistakable.

Ascus and exciple in water, at 400×.
