No herbarium specimen

Notes: This has very fine pores. Flesh is bright yellow and did not bruise at all, even after 15 minutes. Growing in sandy soil in a clearing.

Ah, so it means that it’s unknown? That seems to be what I’m finding out about a lot of the mushrooms that I find around here.

I wouldn’t think this is Suillus Gray. It really does not look like any of the photos I’ve found.
