M. Kuo describes this as a Spring polypore, saprobic on hard wood, frequently encountered by morel hunters. Your photos clearly captured some of the other defining characteristics such as convex to shallowly vase shaped brown cap, whitish pore surface, central stem,angular pores and hairs along the cap margin.
