No M. purpureofusca shown on MO occurence map for eastern US, only US west coast and in Central Europe…,

You mean like Mycena sanguinolenta?

Not really, they bleed somewhat but more purple and sparse. But they have violet gill edges. See other obs.

Do these bleed red latex?
